I have lived in the country and in the same house for over 31 years now. My younger daughter is 30 and she has never known the household without a black Labrador. We have 2 at the moment -the elder one celebrated her 13th birthday in mid April and the younger one, who is daughter of the elder one, passed her 8th birthday at the end of March.

If you have dogs then whatever the weather they have to be exercised- as they say there is no such thing as wrong weather only wrong clothes!
I also enjoy trying to improve my golf and from time to time my wife and I receive a wonderful invitation to go salmon fishing. Yet more outdoor occasions when having the right clothes is really important.
